I am not finding the driver on the web site you suggested...... but, Apparently I have the disc, it just doesn't install the drivers...
Problem Description: *

I can't get the drivers for the video card Powercolor PCI-E 7850 HD from the
internet. the site I found times out... I have just reinstalled Windows 7
professional, because my PC was having problems.. I'm just trying to get the
video card in operation again.. it worked before, but did have some glitches..

Steps to recreate the problem: *

I have the disc, I put it in, click Software install/ then choose install
CATALYST.. and nothing happens. just makes a sound, but does nothing... The card is in the same slot it was in before.... I can click other items on the disc and they will respond.. just not the CATALYST install... or any drivers.

Step 1: Select the type of product that you have (desktop Graphics)
Step 2: Select the product family your product belongs to: (Radeon R7 Series)- (i'm not 100% sure that is correct)
Step 3: Select your product: (Radeon R7 2XX)- (really not sure about that)
Step 4: Select the supported operating system that you have: (Windows 7 - 32 Bit)-(100% sure of that)

So downloading that now
Radeon Software 226 MB Crimson Edition 15.12 12/17/2015

hope it works....

That's installing... I guess my main problem is not understanding why the install disc doesn't work.?? And as far as the finding the software, I wasn't sure Powercolor was AMD. Not much identifying the card, from just the card.. thought it was ATI... (same or no?) Just not savvy on that.. I did build the machines myself (didn't pick out the hardware, just slapped it together), but got the Install DVD's for drivers. main boards and everything else mixed up with other machines I built..... It's been years between the builds in my defense..lol.. But thank you both for the info!! Hopefully I'll be realizing the full potential of my graphics card again soon.. If not I'll be back!! Don't give up on me! I appreciate your advice!
