I am going to upgrade my computer with a new motherboard and the Intel Core i7-6700 8M Skylake. the cpu comes with a fan should I get a different fan or will that one be ok. I wont be doing any over clocking. if I do use the fan that comes in the box would It be better to use thermal past or just use what comes with the fan ?

You always have to use thermal paste for the CPU, doesn't matter stock or aftermarket cooling. But the stock cooling (box) provides all the cooling required for the CPU to run just fine, you should not worry about it.
