I don't judge the moral condition of any technology - good or bad or even EVIL is not my place to decide.

Your input should be considered though (by the original poster) as if they are on a budget, and choose the cheapest thing out there - they might actually get the cheapest quality item out there as well.

I would suggest ASUS - as I trust the brand. I would also spend more than $50 on a motherboard. I purchased an Asus Sabertooth V1.0 over 3 years ago - and it has continued to deliver reliability since day 1.

You will need to get an FM2+ MB. Gigabyte, AsRock and Asus make good motherboards - pros and cons with all of them, but I prefer the ASUS as I have had very good luck with them.

Give this a look:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128694

Gigabyte GA-F2A78M-HD2. good price and decent features.

I would suggest getting DDR3 1600 memory - (PC3-12800). Corsair is solid, G.SKILL is also very popular.
