I am looking for some clarification on compatibility between the 3. at the moment i have a z77 motherboard with i7 3770k and ddr3 ram. i am looking to upgrade the mobo and ram to ddr4, with the possibility to also upgrade to skylake cpu. what i am wondering is whether this board can utilise ddr4, and is there a board that will support the i7 3770k, both ddr3/4 and skylake processors (i realise this is unlikely). any clarification on these issues
