I'm building a PC with roughly a $1500 budget. I will list the components I've picked out and then a few questions I have regarding the PC in general. The main issue at hand is wether or not everything I'm buying is compatible and if I'm missing anything I'll really need.

CPU
Core i7 5820k

Mother Board
As Rock x99 Extreme 4

RAM
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB 288 Pin DDR4

GPU
EVGA GTX 970

PSU
EVGA 850W

CPU Fan
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

HDD
Western Digital Black 3tb

Optical Drive
LG Blu Ray Burner SATA

Case
Thermaltake Chaser Series A31

OS
Windows 10 Home - 64 Bit

Most importantly I NEED to know if everything is compatible and if I'm missing anything major?

Is this the proper OS I want for a fresh build?

If I decide to buy more of the same RAM later to upgrade, will it be compatible? Will it take advantage of quad channel capabilities?

Does the 5820k build have major advantages over the 6700k build? The 6 cores sounds appealing but if the 6700k is THAT much better or future proof then I'd like to know.

Is this Mother Board any good at all? Will it be a bottle neck?

Is this fan good enough if I don't intend to OC?

Will this disc drive read and write CD, DVD, and Blu Ray?

Will this case, psu, or motherboard come with all of the necessary screws and conections needed for installation?

How can I tell if this case uses REAL screws instead of plastic pins?

Will I need to purchase thermal paste seperately?

Is a 850W PSU sufficient for this build?

Thanks guys any answers at all would be extremely helpful! Looking to pull the trigger after I get answers.

Solution
Your links don't work they all go to a default Newegg page.

OS is fine although I like 7 a lot better, less issues with drivers and higher end systems. If you can get Windows 7, maybe a better pick.

You will not need more than 16 GB of RAM for the life of the computer, don't worry about that. You can even get 8 and be perfectly fine.

You may want a solid state hard drive for OS and programs instead of just the 3 TB regular drive, will make a big difference in loading times. I suggest at least a 250 gig SSD.

Motherboards are almost never a bottleneck unless you are setting up a very high end multi GPU setup and don't have enough PCIe lanes for the cards.

Fan is fine.

Disk drive will read all disks.

Case and motherboard will...

Case and motherboard will have everything you need with them.

If the case has screws or not you can just read the description and look at the images.

You will need thermal paste if you are not using the stock CPU.

Power is plenty, it's about 200 watts over what you need for the build but nothing wrong with that.

Well that's unfortunate, the links work for me. Perhaps maybe because I have the items in my cart? Or because I linked the mobile version of the site? IDK... I tried editing the links but I can't guarantee they'll work this time eithet.

Curious, any take on the pros and cons of a i7 5820k vs a i7 6700k build? I like to get some second opinions if anyone can give them.

Also, am I missing any major parts needed to make this rig go the day it's delivered? I just don't want to overlook anything and have to reorder crap.
