Can only boot when using my secondary BIOS.

When I booted my PC this morning (as usual) it displayed a message saying that I needed to insert a boot device. My SSD was still plugged in. Upon seeing this message I decided to switch to my secondary BIOS, and the PC booted as normal (just without all of my OC settings). Is my primary BIOS spent or is there a way to fix this? My OC wasn't huge (3.4GHz to 4.0GHz), and I'm running a 4670k on a Gigabyte Sniper Z87 board. Cheers for any help.

I would do one of two things:

1) Try moving your boot drive to other SATA ports until you find one that works or double check your Boot Order in your Primary BIOS.

2) Go into your BIOS and write down your overclock settings and switch to your secondary BIOS and input the same settings. Save your secondary BIOS first of course so that you can role back if needed.

Cheers, tried all this and it didn't work, and neither did the overclockers guide posted. Feel it maybe my motherboard slowly dying (the soundcard has been playing up for a while now). Thanks for the advice though man, think I'll just back up all my data and then look into an upgrade when I can afford it :)
