Can I use a single PCIe cable that has two 6pin connectors?

Hi, I ordered this psu : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0141B21JG

I also have a R9 380 which requires two 6 pin connectors to power it. The psu comes with two 6 pin connectors and two vga slots. However , one of the cables has a 6+2 connector and a 6 pin connector tied together. My question is, am I able to use that single lead and power the graphics card with both 6 pins and the additional 2 hanging off? If I do this the cords make a strange U shape at the gpu connectors.

Yep, thats entirely OK.
The company wouldnt wire the connections if they didnt intend for you to use them like that. I did the same thing with my old PSU, 6+2 plugged in trailed by a 6 pin. The loop is a bit odd at first, but its entirely ok.
