Hi, I have this motherboard and 4GBx2 of this RAM memory dual channel and memory is clocked at 1866.

Now I want to add another 8gb of ram and I dont know which one to buy, I would prefer kingston but which one? And should I now just get one stick of 8gb or again 4gbx2?

The best idea would be to buy a new 2x8GB kit if you want to expand. After you get it, you then sell the old 2x4GB if you want to recoup some of the cost. Memory has decent resale value so it's not a bad idea.

If you are dead-set on mixing kits despite SR-71 Blackbird's warning (which I advise you listen to, he is 100% right), then at least get another kit of the same memory you have. It isn't guaranteed to work, but it has a better chance.

Getting a single 8GB module would be a bad idea. That wouldn't make your memory not truly dual-channel and could screw up performance a bit. If you must have 12GB, then at a bare minimum try mixing a similar spec 2x2GB kit to at least retain full dual-channel compatibility. Just make sure you can return the kit if it the motherboard decides not to let it work together.
