Hi guys!

I'm about to buy a new build, and just as i'm about to hit purchase i got paranoid.

Questions that arose were:

1. Are the parts compatible with eachother?
2. Will the hydro cooler fit in the Obsidian 550 case, together with the other parts i have selected? (I've seen a few unclear answers online)
3. Do i have enough fans/cooling systems?
5. Is there something else i may have missed? (I always play with a headset so gonna stick to the onboard sound)

I hope i posted this in the correct topic, if not i do appologize!

Truly appreciative of any help! :D

/Alex

Solution
Everything is fine except the motherboard. Get a Z170 board, otherwise you cannot OC that i7 or use all of its power. Put the parts into PCPartPicker and it will tell you if they are compatible

Aaaah fantastic! Thank you so much for the response!

So you suggest i choose an ASUS Z170 PRO Gaming (1151, ATX, DDR4) instead of the ASUS H170-Pro Gaming?

Personally, I would fill my case with Arctic Cooling F12s (74.5 CFM Fluid Bearing 120mm fans. Only $8 each), but I wear good headphones, so I can't hear it. If you don't mind noise, then yes, fill 'er up. If you do, just stick one exhaust in the top, one in the back, and one intake in the front and see if it cools well enough.
