Best way to plug in extra case fan?

Solution
Motherboards will have enough amps for the fan connectors to run two fans via a splitter.
You are ok there.
The motherboard will sense the speed coming from the connected yellow wire and adjust the voltage to the 3 pin connector accordingly.
That means that bot fans will run the same speed.
If you want them to run differently, I can suggest a zalman fanmate2 like this:

You might want to use a cord that plugs into the power supply cords instead of to the motherboard. Connected to the power supply it runs at full speed basically. Not a good idea trying to run Splitters from the motherboard. The motherboard will try to monitor and control the fan(s).

so I could plug it into my psu with this??

If I use the splitter and plug it into motherboard, (cut one of the yellow wires), how fast will both fans run at? Will it make both slower since its splitting power between them? I want my intake fan to stay at its current speed, the 2nd fan on the side can run slow, so i dont really want it connected the psu if it will only run full blast, but i dont want to drawing power from my intake fan.
