Hi guys, When I change the memory speed to 3000mhz on bios and restart to run again the bios forcing me to restore back the speed to 2133mhz before it will continue to my OS.
even when I use manufacturers OC software after a restart the bios warning me to restore back the speed.

anything can I do to run my ram to 3000mhz

Processor: i7-5960X
Motherboard: GA-X99M-Gaming 5
Memory RAM: Kingston Predator DDR4 3000 (8GBx4)

Is the RAM being set to the proper voltage and timings? If they are too low for its rated frequency by default, then they need to also be increased to their rated values or the computer is unlikely to boot. You should be able to get it working just by setting XMP in the BIOS without using any overclocking software.

same with choosing a XMP profile in the bios and it still forcing me to return the speed to 2133mhz to boot properly...
