I placed my CPU in about two days or so ago and it went in gently. I didn't have to apply pressure or anything like that. Did I do it correctly? I'm not sure!
I can't even take it out right now b/c. some of the components are in the way and I can pull on the cable but I'm afraid it'll break the MOBO. Please help? What to do?

Solution
Likely you are ok.
The thermal paste makes the cooler stick to the cpu.
Run the pc a bit so that the cpu heats up and softens the thermal paste.
Then you should be able to remove the cooler.
