Help picking an entry level gaming laptop that I can use for college too

Hey guys, I'm getting a new laptop for college and I want to get one that also has decent gaming capabilities. I tried to narrow it down but didn't do a very good job lol.

I've been looking at the Dell Inspiron i7559, either non touch or the touch screen 4k version. In either case I can get the i7 version for the same price as i5 version. Link is for the 4k touch screen version and the non touch is 1080p and $200 cheaper.

+6700hq i7
+ram and SSD are easy to access
+another spot slot to add an SSD if desired
+4gb 960m instead of 2gb
-8gb of ddr3 and ddr4 incompatible.

I was also looking at the Lenovo y700.

+Looks cooler than the Dell
+8 gb ddr4 ram.
+Comes with a Blu ray drive which I don't currently own
-Looks significantly more difficult to access ram and hard drive.
-Lenovo support apparently isn't very good.

Last is Asus ROG

+16gb ddr ram
+build looks more premium than the other two
+asus brand reputation for ROG series.
+USB 3.1 port
+/-? 17.3 inch screen
-reviews don't seem too great on Newegg.
-2gb 960m instead of 4gb. (best buy overview says 4gb but apparently that's wrong according to the Q and A.
-Overview says it has a thunderbolt port but Q and A says that's not true either.

Main concerns for each:

Inspiron only has ddr3L ram and ddr4 is incompatible. How much will that affect daily use and gaming? If I use regular ddr3 ram will it work or will I have to buy ddr3L?

Lenovo doesn't allow easy access to ram and hard drive so I feel like putting in an ssd will be either difficult or impossible. Poor support if u need help would be an issue.

Lots of reviews on Newegg say that track pad is crappy and the bottom of the laptop is flimsy, as well screen hinge. Intel HD graphics driver also doesn't play nice with Windows 10 apparently and causes a lot of problems with the display blacking out or flickering. The incorrect stats in the overview on Best buy also feel like they're trying to rip people off and hope they don't notice the computer doesn't match the description. Seems pretty shady to me.

Anyway, I guess I just need help deciding which of these concerns will cause me the least trouble in the long run and which laptop will be the best performance for the value. Thanks a bunch!

Solution
Having just very recently dealt with Dell and the specified laptop, I would heavily advise against getting that one. Dell support is possibly the worst I have ever even heard of and they sent me 2 defective laptops in a row. Display problems, crashing, horrible audio, static on screen, just an all around mess of a laptop and company.
As far as the Asus and Lenovo go, I would personally say the Asus looks like a better choice, but I would say they're about on par with each other. If you are open for more ideas, MSI seems to always be a good choice with their laptops which can be around the same price. I would probably go with MSI myself, but if you are set between either the Asus or Lenovo, I would go the Asus because it seems to be...

Most of the bad reviews on it seem to be on its bulkiness and its tendancy to attract fingerprints, but if youre looking for the bigger screen, and dont mind some fingerprints, then I think it should be your choice.
