Our pc recently wouldn't boot up. Narrowed it down to memory. We have 2 2GB DDR2 6400 ram installed on the system. Power goes on fan works but no posting. I remove and have only 1 2GB it post ....funny thing is it worked before with the 4GB any and all help appreciated

Yes, I did reset the Bios. Still not functioning. Now previously the memory was the same type but from different vendors. I recently bought the same type and same vendor...no success. The motherboard shows no sign or trouble but I am thinking possible memory slot issues but want to reach out for some extra brain pans.
