Hello all, some stats about my cpu that won't turn on.
Fx 9590
Fury x
Asus sabertooth 2.0

Before I had a 900w raidmax vampire psu with 20+4 mobo conntector, and this new corsair hx1200i has 14+10... is there a difference? Everything else is the same cable wise.

I also upgraded to a corsair h100i v2 at the same time from my old 120m seidon, which I now regret for not doing one at a time

Just need some help? If I can't figure something out I'll try with old psu and maybe even old water cooler.... other than that everything turns on and works fine, the gpu pump starts up but the card won't light up fully as to be "ready for action"
I assume my cpu won't let it turn on as the light is on......
How do u even know if I bent my cpu ? Thanks

The red light next to the cpu socket on an Asus board indicates something wrong with the power to it from the motherboard.
It can indicate a lack of power to the cpu, a FX 9590 cpu is a 220W part so you must double check that the motherboard model you have can support a 220W cpu in the socket.

It can mean a badly fitted 12v eight pin Atx.

Or that the current bios version of the motherboard does not support a FX 9590 cpu as it currently stands.

You need to check each of the points above.

Bad news !

Sojiro i have just took a look at the specs of a Sabertooth 2.0 board and it only supports a cpu of 140W.

The cpu specs in wattage.

You need a new motherboard with a AM3+ socket that has a 220W power rating i`m afraid.
