Hello everyone,

I have a dell inspiron 530 and it's been having a lot of problems, so i decided to give it a little boost and put in a Samsung 850 EVO SSD. So here is the steps that I've taken so far and please tell me what I'm doing wrong!

1) Removed old HDD and installed new SSD into SATA-0 Port.
2) Booted back up, then went into set up and made boot from CD first priority.
3) Went into integrated Peripherals and changed from IDE to RAID (Only two options)
4) Went into advance settings and changed drive A from 1.44M, 3.5 in to "None"
(In the SATA-0 Slot it see my "Samsung SSD 850 EVO")
5) Saved and exited
6) When booting back up a black screen appears saying "Boot from AHCI CD-ROM: No boot device available, Press ENTER key to retry."
SATA-0: Installed (SSD)
SATA-4: Installed (CD drive)
7) Then I went and unplugged the power and removed the battery from the motherboard for a few min to let everything reset.
8) I plugged back in the old HDD to try and see if I was having the same problem and I am.

So I have no idea how to get this to recognize the winds 7 CD I have to start the instal. Please help. If you need anymore info please feel free to ask!

Thanks,
EE

I did and it tells me "Boot from CD:" Then it sits there for a couple minutes and then try to boot normally. I don't know if there is a problem with the CD or the DVD drive? I know I've used this CD b4.
