Hello, I woundering if the warranty still exist when you buy your own things and then bulding a computer by yourself? because my friend said that it is not true, he says the the warranty disappear when you buy everything and bulding it by yourself. And it only let you keep the warranty if you let the company you buying all the parts from building it for you. is this true or false?

Solution

Entirely false.
Each part has its own warranty, fully applicable, no matter who builds it.

The warranty will still apply to all the separate parts. If any part fails you must contact the part manufacturer and start an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process I had to do this for some parts over the years on my new builds. They will replace the defective parts according to the terms of the warranty.
