Hello, I am trying to build an older computer back up and when I turn it on the CPU led on the Asus Rampage iii Extreme board is flashing/clicking.
I've reseated the Corsair H70 with new thermal paste and put in an old graphics card (x800xt) and have tried booting with only one stick of ram. Also made sure no pins are bent on the motherboard.
I found a video on Youtube that shows exactly what the cpu led looks like when booting.Even the LED on the PSU is flashing...i tested it in another computer and the PSU worked well
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb07uB-KJq4
Its hard to tell whether the CPU is done or the Motherboard. Obviously im hoping its the CPU as they are dirt cheap compared to getting an x58 motherboard nowadays.
