Hello all ive found an old server PC and i was looking to make a game hosting service (Minecraft) for a few friends (like 4 at most for now) and im completely aware that the stock components will NOT work so I'm not even going to mention them XD but i have some new components to put inside them
As follows:
2 core 2 duo's q6600 2.4 Gz (it has 2 CPU slots)
6-8 GB of RAM (i can go up to 16 if need be although it can go to 64Gb)
2 2Tb HDD's (if need be i can convert to SSD if absolutely necessary )
im sure the video card doesn't have much to do with running the server but an integrated card with 16mb of vRAM (sucks I know right XD)
and i need advice on a internet provider and plan that would work as well for something like this
(if you need more info let me know it's my first time posting here)
