I have 2 identical new monitors (LG 23MP67HQ) plugged into my HP Desktop to a Geforce 660 graphics card. One monitor is attached to the DVI-D and the other to the DVI-I
The display looks a lot different with the one connected to the DVI-I looking a lot better. The other looks darker and had a bit of a tint.
I have swapped the cables to eliminate the problem being with the actual monitors and I have narrowed down the difference being due to the fact one is connected to the DVI-D and the other to the DVI-I port.
But I am perplexed how to get them to look the same. I was hoping as they are both identical monitors and both connected to the same graphics card they would be the same.
Interesting observation if I select to duplicate the displays rather than extend them, it makes both look the same. (i.e via the Display Settings - right clicking on the desktop)
So any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
