i currently have an am3+ processor, fx 6300 to be specific, and my motherboard was damaged recently. I'm upgrading to the x99s and im getting two sticks (for now) of 3k mhz ddr4 ram. im looking to get the 5820k, though it appears to be a slight downgrade to my current cpu but due to socket types im needing a new one and it says it only runs up to 2133 mhz ram, will it still use my 3k sticks? also will my 5820 bottleneck my 960 g1?
