Mobo: Asus P9X79 Deluxe
CPU: i7 3930k
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7970
PSU: Corsair HX1050

I also have some compact corsair watercooling on the CPU.

Now, I recently shipped my pc to the new place where I live. I unpacked the pc and plugged everything in, but when I turn the system on, there is no display. (The monitor works fine though as I play xbox on it)
It detects that it is plugged in when the pc is on, but it just says "no signal".

There is also a red light on the motherboard, it's called VGA_LED. I took the entire thing appart, cleaned of some dust and put it back together, but I'm having the same issue. I've plugged the GPU in 3 different sockets on the motherboard too. Before I shipped the computer over it worked fine though.

How can I find out what the problem is, and how to solve it?

EDIT: According the my motherboard manual, if the VGA_LED stays on it means that an error was found there. I notice that the BOOT_DEVICE_LED is also on now. My motherboard also has a 2 digit display that displays error codes. Mine shows A2 which according to the manual means IDE Detect. Here is the manual: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/432089/Asus-P9x79-Deluxe.html?page=46#manual

I hope this gives more information on my problem.

Integrated Graphics: Enables a PC to run video/graphics with no add in GPU. May be built into the CPU or the motherboard
Yes, you are correct. Re-seating the CPU will require you to undo the clamp and take the CPU out. It is necessary to remove and reapply thermal paste. Try the GPU on another system. It might still work.

Try all the other ports on the GPU, especially VGA and DVI if available. Also try the integrated graphics on HDMI and VGA. If non of those work, reset BIOS. If resetting the BIOS doesn't work, re-seat the CPU. I had a similar problem 2 weeks ago where HDMI won't work on both my iGPU and GPU. Re-seating the CPU worked for me. Try it out and see what happens.

I'm not familiar with the terminology that you use. By intergrated graphics, I understand that you mean graphics that are on the motherboard, like without the GPU on it? Does my motherboard have this? There is no HDMI port or VGA port in my computer unless it is the one from my GPU.

By re-seating the CPU, do you mean undoing the clamp that holds the CPU into place? Is it also necessary to apply thermal between my cooler and the CPU when I do this?

Then it most definitely is a GPU failure, i would try to return the graphics card for a new one if i could.
