So I am building my first PC ever, and I know how to put it all together and stuff but I had one important question. I need to know if AMD CPUs are compatible with GeForce graphics cards.

I am getting this CPU:

you can mix and match any brand cpu and gpu as long as the motherboard supports them. that combo is fine.

No, not really. You might want to go for the FX 6300 though, since its a better processor and can be found on PCpartpicker for 92$.
