I recently brought a new system
motherboard:Asus H170 pro gaming
Processor:intel core i5 6500
Corsair vengeance 1x8GB 2400 MHZ DDR4
Asus gtx 960
Corsair cs 550m
Since my motherboard supports only 2133 Mhz max,i need to overclock to get to the 2400 Mhz .There is an xmp profile in my BIOS but it tells overclocking failed after using xmp.any solutions?
and don't ask me whyi didn't buy a k series processor and a z170 motherboard.because with my ambient temps ,it's hard to maintain the overclocking during summer seasons even with a good cooler.
