Hi guys,
I would like to ask you for any help as I am already pretty desperate.
We bought Asus Xonar Essence STX2 to be able to generate ultrasounds such as mouse vocalizations and tones of higher frequencies (40-80khz). The card looks nicely and works well, but only in audible band. Using the oscilloscope I tested the analogue output of the card. It seemed that for some reason it was sampling only at 44-48khz. Playing 16khz sine gives 16khz sine. 22-24 khz the signal is instable and higher frequencies seem to be aliased somewhere to audible band - playing 32khz sine gives 16khz on the output (measured with an oscilloscope). In the Asus software I set the sampling frequency to 192khz, so as in win7 64bit Control pannels (Sound). I reinstalled the drivers, now there are the newest ones from Asus webpage. I tried different types of software (matlab, VLCplayer...), nothing helped.

Could you please advise me anything that could help.
Thank you in advance. I really apreciate any help.
Have a nice day,
Ondrej
