After having lumia 920 for 3 years it was an amazing phone until microsoft ruined it with windows phone 10. I know I can back it up to wp 8.1(which I will do) but there is not a lot of apps in the store that I can download. I was thinking about buying a new phone and I would use it for music on my headphones, watching videos and gaming. Games I'll be playing are Tower defense games, fighting games(mortal kombat x), racing games(need for speed and asphalt 8) and RPS and MMORPG games. I'm not a fan of shooting games on mobile. I don't know what phone to buy that will suit my needs, I'm mostly torn because iPhone costs too expensive(around 700 euros) and there is no way to buy any Tegra k1 devices in my country. I'm looking for a phone that has 1080p screen and 3 gb of ram. Samsung phones are not the phones I'm looking for because they die quicly(in my country). I don't want snapdragon 810 because it's overheating. As for graphics, I don't know what gpu is better adreno 418 or 420. Mali t760 mp8 version is the one I might consider. Mediatek processors are kinda a no-no for me.

Solution
As long as the screen is good, 90% of the phones sit in a case where you won't see or feel any other damage anyway, so a good price is a good price :) Just make sure the thing does not shut down on you in a game due to heat or chip issues.

Google nexus(or any "google exclusives") phones aren't avilable in my country as well. Mali-T760 MP8, Nvidia tegra k1(shield not avilable in my country as same as evga tablet or even meizu tab 7.9), adreno 330 and adreno 418. What of these would be enough for gaming at 1080p resolution phones or lower having these gpu's and if you can list some so I can see which phones have them. Lg is an amazing brand but g4 is too expensive and g3...too much of an unnecessary resolution, I don't like it xD.

Don't know about the gaming specs in those platforms, you can look up their benchmarks online though. Issue you will have with looking specifically for a 1080 screen is that for the lower resolution you want in a phone, that will be in lower end or older models, all the new phones with fast chips and enough storage for games are going to high res screens. For example the new Samsung S6 has the same resolution as the LG G3.

Look at what your phone providers offer and look up the models on www.phonearena.com you can do comparisons there pretty easily like this http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Samsung-Galaxy-S6,LG-G3/phones/8997,8347

I have an LG G3, no issues with games even on that screen, but I don't play games on it much, mostly my kids. Some people did complain about slowness eventually with that phone, I don't see any though. Was a no-brainer pick for me, had an SD card, good camera, good screen and was free from Verizon since I had an upgrade with a contract extension. Even if was not free I may have gotten it over either the Samsung S5 or a Motorola Droid. The G3 had excellent marks for the camera and scree, and I like the way the buttons are on the back.

Actually, if you have Motorola products available, I really like those, although they are starting to become rare after the brand was bought and newer ones use worse screens and no SD cards. Which is a big reason why I did not get them.

I don't know, I really love the design of lg g3 and it's specs are great and it would be a perfect phone but it's the 2k display that's killing me. I'll search for similar phones. Thank you for your time :D

Lower resolution is better for gaming since the gpu will be pushing less pixels so you will able to increase the textures and you will get more fps so the game will run smoother. My eye can't see a noticable difference between 2k, 1080p and 720p since the screen size is smaller. It's really the technology that makes the screen look good such as IPS or amoled displays.

Gaming is faster on the lower resoltion, but the new phones have the CPU speed to run the games well even on those screens. The screen in the G3 is very good, but I actually like the Samsung G5 and G6 screens a bit better, they seem to have better colors. Phone as a primary gaming system is not very good though, too small of a screen. You should look into a tablet for games.

I need something on the go and tablets are too big for me while in school or on a trip because they have a poor camera. My primary gaming machine is my BEAST of a pc. I've found some g3 for 135 euro because he needs to sell the phone right away and I think that's gonna be the one I'm buying even tho it's a little damaged it's hardly noticable and if I'm lucky, I might get the price down even lower.
