Also how much power will the 650W PC will consume when
1) Idle
2) Basic tasks
3) Gaming (No overclocking)

please help.

Solution
Your PC probably peaks at about 300W. An 800VA UPS is rated around 550W. You shouldn't load above 75%. That means an 800VA is good for about 410W. You are probably OK with 800VA. You won't get much time to shutdown. The 1000VA will give you more time to shutdown.

So what capacity UPS should I get? Will a 800VA be enough? or do I need a 1 KVA?
