My friend is offering me a GTX 660 or a GTX 680. I already have a GTX 660 in my computer so I can use the GTX 660 in SLI mode. The thing is that last time I tried to use the SLI mode with the 660's it didnt work. It didnt show the SLI setting in NVIDIA-control panel. I have a 500 watt power supply so could that be the problem? My computer showed that it has 2 GPU's but it didnt boost my performance.
Should I take the GTX 680 or buy a new power supply for the gtx 660 SLI?
Also my friends GTX 660 has only 1 fan and mine has 2 fans, so are they compatible with each other?
