16g of memory on shows 4 gb

i recently changed my processor from a i7 3820 to a i7 3930k both support quad channel ram.
when i switched cpu's my bios only shows 4gb ram instead of 16gb that i have installed?
i have the latest bios for my asus rampage gene iv , can someone lend me their expertise in this situation

Make sure that the ram modules are correctly (and fully!)inserted. try running each module by itself to verify that they each work. check each ram slot to make sure that they each work.

+1 Also make sure the CPU isn't too tight, if too tight in a corner or side it can throw the MC off. Also ensure you have the latest BIOS
