Ram issue on Asus p5kpl

I have Asus p5kpl and ram broke , it made beep codes I looked up in the internet and everyone said it was ram problem , I got new ram and it makes new beep codes 1 long beep code and 2 short . Can anyone help ? new ram is 553 mhz

You will need to provide more info. Please state your full systems specs inclusive of your ram modules specs and that the ram you removed weren't faulty/damaged by running them on a donor system. Have you installed the ram in the appropriate slots as they were with the now damaged rams? On that note, is your BIOS up to date with version 0805? Have a read through this though I think your manual would offer more info.
