Purchased 2400mhz RAM sticks (1.65v), MOBO only supports 2133, should I leave the voltage at 1.5 or change it to 1.65 manually

Title, I googled this extensively and found out nothing relating to the voltage, people just say the motherboard will automatically set to the proper voltage.

1.5v for 1.65v RAM sticks seems too low, even if it's running at 2133mhz rather than 2400.

Solution
Get the free app CPU-Z and check what it shows in the memory tab for freq and voltage to see what you are actually running at. A mobo will set the DRAM to it's defaults (normally 1600 or 1333 and 1.5). until/unless you set it manually or enable MP

If you have DDR4 RAM, make sure you set the XMP settings in your BIOS to allow for automatic detection of the RAM. Once the XMP settings are enabled you can adjust the speed and frequency.

One thing you can also check is the manual of the motherboard and see what it lists as the maximum RAM speed is supports.
