boot error cant get safe mode

Solution
Do you mean "boot selection failed"?

As this can often mean the computer is trying to boot from a USB drive or DVD as opposed to the hard drive. If not you have a couple of options:

1. Windows startup/installation could be corrupt - Obtain a DVD copy of the Windows version you are running such as Windows 7 and boot the laptop up tot he DVD, you can then run a Windows Startup Repair

2. Your hard drive could be faulty - Obtain a USB hard drive caddy and plug your hard drive into this and the into another computer. Check that you can indeed access the files on the drive and no "Clicking" noises are coming from the drive. If the drive is faulty it may at least allow you to obtain your files from it.

If you have Windows 7 your product key is normally on a sticker on the device, so best obtain that exact media. If you have Windows 8 onwards your product key should be embedded in your BIOS.
