Hello I am using An SSD (MKNSSDDRE1TB) on a ASROCK x79 Extreme 4-M

It is My 2nd hard drive over my old western one and I already got it Clone from my old hard drive and everything

One problem I cannot for the love of god get this computer to recognize the SSD Bios To boot from All i have available is my old hard drive and 3 other IDK what the hell they are. And I am fairly certain that the boot bios are not letting me switch over. Im afraid that IF I detach the old Hard drive then I wont be able to boot my computer again.

So id like to switch the boot bio to my SSD and wipe clear of the Old HDD and use it for my 2nd storage or when it goes out first. Please ive looked everywhere I cannot understand why I cannot do it

Update 1/31/2016

So i switch out the port of where i can plug my SSD into and it shows up and boot from it Now I have another problem Apparently
Window has clamped down to my old western hdd i cannot wipe it without destroying the computer. Anyone know what I can do ?

Ok another update this part is weird apparently even if i change the boot to start at my SSD when i unplugged the HDD it failed to boot and the boot mgr is in the HDD how would I get this fucking computer to switch the hard drive around so that the primary and to boot from is the SDD not the HDD GAAAHAHHAH

Yep, it sounds like when you cloned the SSD from the HDD, you forgot to include the boot sector (MBR). Best thing to do is perform another clone and this time include the boot sector. Then (1) enter BIOS and make the SSD the first hard drive. Then (2) make it the first boot device (or right after the DVD drive).
