Hello All,

My current SPEC's are :

AMD Phenom II 940 3Ghz
Gigabyte 780G Mobo
4 GB DD2 800 Mhz RAM
CM Hyper 212 Cooler
Corasir CX430 Bronze with 32A in 12v rail
19 inch samsung monitor
Deep cool Tesseract Case

I'm planning on buying a new SYSTEM with SPECs as below :

Intel Core i5 6400 - Rs 13,000 or 200$
DDR3 1600Mhz 4Gb X 2
24 Inch Dell S2415H monitor
MSI GTX 960 2GB OC

Can u guys please suggest a good motherboard for this build.
Since i'm having phenom 940, it may bottleneck gtx 960.
That is the reason i'm getting a new CPU and mobo.
Kndly suggest if anything has to be changed like RAM or CPU or GPU.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply...

The older system as in ? Is it the haswell one ...

And also DD4 RAM are cheaper compared to DDR3....

So i was thinking maybe this would be sufficient->

With this MOBO ->

And the i5 6400 Processor... Kindly suggest if this is OK....

And also i'm planning on buying the GTX 960 2gb ....will the Phenom 940 handle the 960 without any bottleneck??

I'm purchasing a new processor only for the purpose of handling GTX 960...

What should i do?

you can either pick h110 or b150 for your i5 build
if you really have a limit budget, pick h110 as well
but ! I will fully suggest to get the ddr4 is possible.
because price of ddr4 is really cheap right now
there is no reason to still get the ddr3 for skylake platform
