Can I Use A USB Port From my WiFi PCI-E Card for Devices That Need Internal MoBo USB Header?

So, I have this WiFi/Bluetooth card from Gigabyte:

Wifi works fine, but for Bluetooth I need to connect an USB header cable to the card and my motherboard (ASUS P8P67). However, my motherboard only has two internal USB headers which are occupied with my fan controller (NZXT Grid+ V2) and CPU AIO (H110i GT). So, I was wondering if I could buy one of these adapter cables:

And plug the USB A part into the female USB port on Wifi card so that I could use Bluetooth? Will that work?

I'm not sure I followed you correctly, but if I did...
Yes, it should. As long as the USB port on the wifi card is active and working properly. You could test that with a flash drive or something.

It's odd the card was designed with an internal USB3.0 header, but an external USB2.0 port. I would have thought both would be internal or both be external. Not different.

Thanks. I never thought about installing a flash drive to see if the port would work but it did.

The internal usb header is 2.0 not 3.0. I'm guessing it was designed this way so that people could use the adapter cable I mentioned to have a more integrated solution rather than need to connect a cable to the mobo. Would have been nice if they included the adapter cable right of the box though.

I think I'm experiencing the same issue...would you be able to confirm?

I need to run something else on JUSB1 but this wifi card is using up my only available connection.

I see an empty USB3.0 header (JUSB2) on that motherboard, and I see a non-connected USB3.0 cable laying there. (?) I also see a free USB2.0 female connector on the expansion card. So, I'm not sure what your issue is. That makes 2 free USB headers or connectors available.
