Hello, this is my first time building a pc, and i am wondering what cpu is best for light to moderate gaming. i will not overclock. i am looking into i3-2120. i can get it with only a few bucks as i am on tight budget and i have a lga 1155 motherboard. i am also using photoshop, will that make use of the hyperthreading? please help me thanks and sorry for english i am not a native english speaker

Yes that CPU has 4 threads so it will make use of hyper threading, (You may have to go into the bios to activate it) It will barely bottleneck your games at all however an i5 is often recommended for no bottlenecks, however they are a lot more expensive. But for light-moderate, that CPU will be perfectly fine
