I think it would be better to go with GIGABYTE because
ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 980 have just 1279 MHz for GPU boost clock and 1178 Mhz for base clock
But Gagabyte Got Boost:1354 / Base: 1253 MHz in OC Mode And Boost:1329 / Base: 1228 MHz in Gaming Mode
But finally it's up to you for the designing and better look to match your Build
