I have an Xbox gathering dust and my desktop is currently broken so I was wondering if there was any way to install Linux on an Xbox 360 E


I don't care if it's going to be slow. it's better then no computer.
I'm getting my desktop repaired and it will be done in a month so having a computer would be nice.

I tried Free60 but it requires opening your Xbox up and soldering wires and buying some kit so I think I'll pass.

Also, for the other link you game me I didn't quite understand how it worked because it didn't give instructions. It just gave an ISO file...

Thank you anyway for at least giving me options because when people ask the question everyone just replies with "it's not possible"

From what I read (and re-call from when this was en vogue), it was not a trivial thing to do in some ways. Many tried it and failed, seemed to be more work than it was worth. There are actually several threads on Tom's on this very subject. You might search through those for some other pointers.

It seems that it is currently not possible...
I mean I'm pretty sure it would be possible but nobody has really tried yet and I don't anything on how to do that.
