What is happening to my HDD?

Well, hello people.
I built my own Pc almost a year back. I didn't have any knowledge at all about computers (still kinda don't either), so I didn't really know if what was happening was normal or not.

The thing is, that, mainly during games, I hear a clicking noise coming from my Pc, which, after researching a little, realized it was my HDD. Everytime I'm in-game (if I can even get to that), my HDD starts clicking like crazy, sometimes freezing the screen without ever restoring back. However, this clicking does not only happen during gaming, but sometimes when opening other programms (Like Google Chrome, for instance) or maybe even when loading Windows itself.

Windows has also given me a lot of Warnings about Hard Drive failing, and because of this I took it to IT Support (It's warranty) and they took it for like a week and then told me it was "Perfectly fine". BS. The HDD kept on clicking and they kept on saying it was OK. Today I had my first real Pc crash ever, due to my Hard Drive. I was playing a game (XCOM Enemy Unknown, which does not require a powerful computer, eventhough I do have one.), and suddenly the clicking, which had started from the moment I launched the game, started to go crazy until finally frezzing my screen and seconds later, my screen turned blue with like weird blank marks, Pc restarted by itself and then It said that no Hard Drive was detected. I left the Pc alone for a while and then tried again. (Pretty much praying my HDD was not really dead.) Pc booted properly but as soon as I got to the Desktop, the Windows Hard Drive Warning pop-up came up.

There's also something I've noticed, which is that sometimes when the HDD fails and screen freezes, I then mess around with the SATA cable to see if it's not bent r something and for some reason that makes the HDD less likely to click. But at the same time, the cable can't be the problem cause I tried using a different one, and even bought a brand new one and both end up accomplishing nothing.

So, what could be happening to my HDD?
I know it all points to it being too old, but I literally bought it 9 months ago.
I believe overheating is not a problem because the ambient is quite cold, and I control both my GPU and CPU temperature and none have ever exceed 70ºC. I've got enough fans for a good air flow too.
Also, power should not be a problem either. I've got a 750w PSU.

I forgot to mention that sometimes while the crazy constant clicking happens, I hear a short "Boop" sound too. However, as I said, this only happens when the clicking is going crazy, not when It's just random one.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions of what I could do, or what could be happening to my HDD.
Thank you in advance, and excuse me for my English since it's not my native language.

System Specs:
GPU: AMD Sapphire R9 290x
CPU: AMD Fx 8350
RAM: 8Gb
PSU: 750w
HDD: Toshiba 1Tb (It was the only one I could find in my local town)

The drive brand is what I mean by it's make. Who manufactured the drive - - eg Seagate, Hitachi, WD, Samsung etc Not a difficult question.

From the reference numbers you supplied I can tell it's made by Toshiba (surprised it doesn't show that in Device Manager). They don't have any drive testing software so use Seagate SeaTools for DOS on a bootable CD.

Backup your data as soon as possible because repeated clicking from a hard drive usually means it is likely to fail soon.
You can test it with drive manufacturer's software to be sure, but still back up the data first.
I know it's less than a year old but it's just luck of the draw, some go on for years, other's don't last long at all.
Post the drive make and I'll point you to the appropriate testing software.

I agree with you about what your IT support told you about it being fine - - I don't believe that until it's tested - - did they actually test it? No way to to be sure otherwise.

I am not sure what you mean by it's Make, so'll post all the info written in the Package in which it came.
Toshiba NOV-2014
Disk Drive: DT01ACA 050/100 - This is weird. The package says it's 050 but in the Windows Device Manager it says 100.
Drive Rev: AAA A10/750
S/N: Y41J00KBS X13

I don't know if they actually tested it or not. I just told them what was happening, even showed them pictures and videos of Windows warning me about a disk failure and Motherboard not detecting any device. They took it for around a week and they told me it was perfectly fine. I can't tell if they tested it or not.

Thanks for your help. Any further information needed, just ask me.
