Hey guys,
I have a concerning about my cpu reading. On the bios screen, the voltage reading at 1.464 while the temps is only 22c. Is that bad? I have the mobo asus maximus viii gene and update to the latest version. I have havent try any stress test yet. This is my first gaming rig.

Skylake can handle a bit higher vcore than haswell, up to around 1.35v for daily use (non competition, higher risk). If that is in fact your vcore it's too high. Cpu's ramp up their multiplier under load rather fast so the temps at idle aren't really much of an indication of stability unless you're not planning to use your pc. In use the cpu won't always be idle or may hardly be idle. Voltage is always a factor and it's quite high for your chip, you can't just overvolt as much as you'd like regardless of how low temps seem.

that´s way to high voltage if u not doing Oc,try to run a stress test to see if the voltage change, and if the core clock its at 4.2 or lower..

1.4V is the maximum you should be running on a Skylake chip, any higher and you are likely to do damage if not fry the thing outright. If your motherboard has an automatic overclock setting enabled, turn that off and overclock manually, automatic overclocks always apply too much voltage.
