Is changing psu gonna effect my pc?

Solution
so long as it has enough power for the system then there wn't be any issues changing it out. often pre-built psu's are pretty crappy so swapping it for a quality unit can save a lot of headaches later down the road.

be sure you pick a quality one that has the power for your purposes including possible future upgrades you may want to do. if you need help picking one, just ask, we'll be happy to offer some suggestions.

that is an atx psu and will fit into any atx case which your's is unless it is one of those mini pc super small cases.

i don't see any model of hp called a quest so can't verify it's size. but again so long as it is a normal sized pc then you're fine

Or the thinner Dell (Optiplex) and HP (Slimline) that take either TFX or SFX PSUs.

dang forgot about those. guess we should ask for the exact model to be sure. i did not find anything about an "hp quest" so can you give us the actual model number so we can just be sure you're ok.

i did not even question it but now that it is on the table we should at least be sure.
