I am currently using this setup:
I5 6600k
2x8gb hyperx fury ddr4
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Heatsink
MSI Gaming Z170A mobo
550 w psu
r7 260x gpu
So basically I built my computer last night and put one stick of ram in dimm 2 and dimm .
when I turn on the computer the gpu seems to stutter and will not fully start spinning/turn on.
I tried all combos of ram ports. It wasnt until I tried dimm1 and dimm2 that the gpu was able to turn on and then the display followed.
So i'm only going to use 2 slots for my ram in the end and im curious can I get away with just using dimm 1 and dimm 2 or do i need to return my mobo,? (as there may be future problems)
