I need help selecting any of these GIGABYTE MOBOS
I am buying one as my stupid M5A97 has randomly stopped giving display and tried everything but the stupid thing wont work. It is out of warranty and over 3 years old.

So I am very confused. Reading through each gigabyte motherboards specifications in this particular chipset there were very mild differences in my notice. So which once should I picK?

Current system:

Fx8320, Sapphire HD7950, 1ssd, 2 hdd, Corsair GS700, Seidon 120vplus cooler, Corsair 400R case

I wont be overclocking really. Just want to game and do heavy editing.

GA-970A-DS3

GA970A-D3P

GA970A-UD3P

GA970A-DS3P....

I mean just read those model names, wtf? right? that alone is confusing to pick from.

Solution

Replace because I moved to Intel. and I'm not going back until AMD releases ZEN CPUs. The Gigabyte970a-UD3P is a solid motherboard and very good for overclocking, You should look after revision 2.0.

Isnt that the most expensive of the list? Also, when was that mobo realeased? is it like 2012/2013?

does it come in "Revisons, like 1,2,etc?", if so which one should I get?

Also I will be on a budget, so which would be most bang for buck with my config?

You owned one? means its replaced by choice or necessity?

Anyhow, I have been to ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE and ASROCK websites, and so far Gigabyte has been the only company which aggresively markets their motherboards durability and quality? are they really epic durable boards?

I mean I do have a G31M-ES2L from the old days and it still works fine, even run on the orignial factory cmos battery it came with. It was bought in 2009.
