Hi, I'm thinking of building a mid ranged gaming PC and I just wanted to check if this was a good build:

AMD FX-6350 3.9GHz 6-Core Processor

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard

Kingston HyperX Fury Red 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card

Fractal Design Core 1100 MicroATX Mini Tower Case

EVGA 600W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

Can you say if it could run things like Just cause 3, Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain and maybe even newer games like The Division (say if these could run at a good frame-rate on any of the settings please or if they could run). Thank you for any responses!

Since I am buying software and a moniter as well, I think around £510. Can you please include everything (except moniter and software) even case. Thanks! If possible can this be in pounds and in Pc Part Picker.

You can swap out the SSD for a 1TB HDD:

If I get a 1TB HDD first then later buy a SSD would I have to transfer things over to make it faster, and is there a way I can get a quad core (since most games are requiring them) if I swap out the SSD for a HDD. A couple of other questions, does the motherboard have to be DDR4 enabled and when looking at game specifications they mainly use other companys graphics card as an example, how am i meant to tell if mine is good enough in that case(same with a different CPU and etc).

About the CPU, in my last post I asked if i could try swaping it, could I use the CPU in my first build (since that seems quite powerfull and is only £5 more) or would that not work?

FX-6350 and i3-6100 use completely different sockets.

FX-6350 is an old 6-core processor while the i3-6100 is new CPU released in the end of last year codenamed Skylake. It is based on 14nm architecture, has MUCH better single-threaded performance which will give it a wide edge over the FX-6350 especially in CPU based games. It also has DDR4 support and gives you an upgrade path into future-gen Intel CPUs such as i5's and i7's.

The motherboard you chose for the FX-6350 is very cheap and poor quality with very few features. If you really want to stick with the FX (maybe you do heavy rendering a lot) then you have to get a better board than that.

Yes, if you buy HDD right now, you will have to transfer all the files and OS to the SSD when you get it.

If you want to check out performance differences between different CPUs and GPUs in detail in different benchmarks, Google will help you.

I've seen several reviews on CPUs and seen the features of the motherboard you recommended (like DDR4 memory) and completely agree with your choice. It looks fantastic, thanks!
