I bought a set of g skill trident x f3-2400c10d-8gtx. The G Skill website states that this ram has a tested speed of 2400Mh but in my bios eache module states they only have a speed of 1333Mhz. which is the correct speed for this ram. Is it suppose to be 2400Mhz?

If done correctly, I would say no, OCing isn't going to reduce the lifespan, I've still got a couple of rigs that date back to 2007 that are highly OCed in the family, that have been handed down a few times. Also the rigs I've built over the last 5 years (Appr 250) most all are OCed (I only build on K model CPUs) and all are running fine ;)

Ok. I could overclock my system What would be the best air cooler for overclocking. I have a noctua nh-u12. Does overclocking decrease the lifepan of components? I heard it does.
