So I'm planning to upgrade my pc soon and need some advice with the cpu. My original PC came with an i3-3240 with a LGA1155 socket board.
My question is: would it be worth holding onto my current board and switching out the i3 for an i5-2500k or do I go for a new board that could house a cpu more suited to my needs?
Or is there a better cpu with the LGA1155 socket?
