Terrible performance decrease after driver update (AMD)

I have a R9 390X. After updating to the latest drivers (15.30.1025.1001-151204a-296876C) I've been having terrible performance. In Battlefield 4 and SW Battlefront I've been from being at 60 fps to 25-35. I'm not entirely sure if everything has been completely installed, the AMD installer is broken and always gets stuck. I can only assume that things are installed because Radeon settings runs and it tells me drivers are installed.

Run DDU to completely remove the drivers in safe mode and then reinstall. Is your issue better? If not, then revert to an earlier stable version of drivers, until AMD resolves the issue.
