Hello everyone and let me welcome myself, I've been reading and reading for about a year now and have yet to post. To hopefully I get a warm welcome and can be a part of the knowledge base!

My setup:
And fx-8320. Brand new from micro center yesterday
-Asus MFA99DX; brand new as well from micro center purchased yesterday.
-"Ultra"(?) 500w PSU
-1Tb Toshiba HDD
-500gb Samsung Evo 850
- Fan controller
-Nvidia 740GT (MSI)
-Factory heat sink just until I post and I'll install an AIO
Xpredator X1 (so small I hate it)

-PC started life Christmas 2014 as a Cybertron Helli. It came with the HDD, fx6300/gigabyte 78-lmt-usb3 on the 760g chipset. Had no issues

Upgraded to a Sabertooth mobo (was refurbished and R.1)... wouldn't post, just blink at memok!, hold red on CPU light. Boot/VGA never lit up. Couldn't get it to boot, ended up messing up the am3+ socket I believe as I broke he adjustment stick off of the board. Didn't know if this was detrimental so I just bought a brand new boards and CPU while at it.

Put it all back together today, and while the Mobo was dropped inside case, I gave it a test run fully booked up (CPU installed, even put new arctic thermal paste; heatsink is on, and fan connected to CPU_Fan beside the CPU.

Booted and looked good. Blinked (all of em) for a few seconds, and all the lights were g2g except boot LED and VGA. Made since I didn't have GPU connected, and maybe boot light since it won't recognize an OS on the new Mobo/CPU. While the board was dropped in case, it had 0 bolts bolting down. PC was tested horizontally with window open.

Ended up using all the Mobo screws to firmly secure it to the case with every screw. Plugged in the HDD and the SSD via a data cord and a 6gb/s cable. Did the same with both, one being in the first GRAY sata 6 port. For the HDD I connected it into the next pair of gray sata connectors and connected the HDD to the top of the sata on the mobo, on the second gray sata block of (2) inserts. So I have SSD in the sata1, and the HDD at the top of the next gray sata port over, sata 3/4 (top port). So I have my SSD in port 1 (top, gray) and HDD in port 3 (top, gray).

For my optical drive I just connected it into the SATA 5, the sata port that isn't with the other, but in the center of the board. Nothing connected to the blue sata ports. Also, connected the big USB 3 blue cord into the Mobo. YES, I have BOTH the 8-pin by he CPU and all of the 240-pin securely snug, so it's getting power.

Note SB light stays green (it did w my Sabertooth too)... So, I go to POST, and I am devastated to relive my Sabertooth nightmare. blinking Dram light, solid CPU light, no more VGA/Boot lights are seemingly non existent as they don't ever do anything. I am now literally with the same symptoms as with the Sabertooth.

Things to note- my PC is doing something so weird. Like l unplug the back of the PC and jump it I what have you... Any Fwiw, anytime I simply plug the power cord into the back of the PC, the PC kicks on but in that same state. If the cords in the back hooked in, then flipping the on/off switch in the fear will also start it when turned to the on position. Very weird and I've never experienced this.

Since I am a noob, I'll say that I do not have anything in the COM ports and/or the "TB header" or the "TPM"... I'm new and these Mobo layout is different than my chesp boards I'm use too...

My PC is an absolute mess since it started life as Cybertron. Wiring is just everywhere connected all over the place and buried up by the fan controller. It makes my working very hard on the PC and half of the molex cables i don't even know what they're going to. The only fan I have hooked to Mobo is CPU_Fan... The rest are all hooked up w my fan controller.

CURRENTLY, When I start the computer everything else kicks on. All of my case fans, my LED lighting, my optical drive is working, my CPU fan is spinning etc. simply flashing Dimm, solid red CPU. Putting in a Graphics card will not yield anything to prompt on screen, though PC does recognize my keyboard if I plug it in or out as it lights up when I plug it into the Mobo.

ANY IDEAS at all guys? I know this subject is talked about a lot but I am the a 100% loss and just laid out a lot of $ (to me) for that Sabertooth I still have, and the CPU/Mobo I just purchased yesterday.

Last note-- PC stopped turning on completely earlier. No idea what I did just unplugged and plugged back in power cables to the Mobo like the 240-pin, messed with some molex cables etc and it will "kick on" like normal again just won't POST and has the red light issues. Last thing I'll point out is with the Sabertooth board I couldn't get ANYTHING from it except if I pressed Memok! It would "kick it on" but never post. It wouldn't do anything if I tried turning it on with the PC case power button. However with this board/CPU, while I still can't post the PC turns over with the power button and again, everything seems to run and be working it just will not post and I'm stuck with the lights out of nowhere, when on my "first attempt" period without the graphics card everything was fine without lights...

Clues? Ideas? I'm desperate guys, willing to PayPal anyone that can get this to POST! Promise! I'll upload pics of i can

Thanks everyone
