I have no experience using dual monitors, this is the first time I am going to attempt to connect it. I use a Radeon HD 7950

Hdmi to Hdmi. I would like to know how I could connect another same monitor. Do I connect the 2nd one Hdmi to dsub?
The monitor only has 1 hdmi and dsub each but my card only has 1 hdmi port. I once tried connecting a dvi from my mobo to a vga on my old display because my dvi-dvi cable was broken, and I had issues with the resolution. I would like to avoid making a similar mistake while buying cables for the 2nd display.

Solution
Yeah the dsub is a vga but your GPU does not have one so you will have to go for dvi to hdmi to connec to the second display and yes it will work even with a plain dvi-hdmi cable.

The monitor has an hdmi port and a dsub port, which is a vga port from what I understand? Will Dvi from my card to hdmi on the 2nd monitor work? With a plain dvi-Hdmi cable or will i need some type of converter for that?
