Probably a quick one, for some reason, my laptop thinks that my external hard drive is an SD card.

Now don't get my wrong, I would be thrilled if 2tb sd cards existed, just think how cheap SSD's would be.

It's not a major issue, but I would like to fix it, just not sure how since there is no option to choose an icon for it.

Solution
1. Open the Start menu, write regedit in the search box and open it.
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows >CurrentVersion > Explorer > DriveIcons.
3. Click on the DriveIcons once with left click then on the right side under the "Name" double left click on it.
4. It should have something as the "Value", remove that value, press OK and exit the registry editor.
5. Now go see if the drive icon has changed, if you had My Computer already open make sure you right click and refresh.
